New Business Consultants

To offer you excellent service we need to understand your requirements and what you wish to achieve. Our New Business Consultants are always available to come and visit you, to discuss your needs, and to offer our suggestions and advice on how these can be achieved. They have a deep understanding of business and how the Internet can be used to your best advantage. Account Management

The Account Management teams are the Client's first point of contact for all aspects of a website project. Their job is to keep you happy.

Our Account Managers are responsible for all aspects of the client relationship including taking the initial brief for a project, writing communication briefs for our designers and functional specifications for our programmers, creating timelines and making sure these are adhered to, ensuring that copy and assets are received on time, taking feedback on creative concepts, managing any changes and amends, daily client contact, arranging regular client meetings, future account planning, and managing any issues that may occur. Clearly a busy and important role.

Our Account Managers' purpose is to ensure our clients are well looked after and that projects are delivered ‘On Spec, On Time, On Budget’.

Creative

Gulf Interactive websites are easy to view and easy to navigate. Our designers are able to take your offline branding online, or to create your online branding from scratch. 

The creative process starts with our designers coming up with creative concepts. These are usually two or three designs of how the website might look. Client feedback on these designs will allow us to refine the chosen concept into a design that exactly meets each client’s needs and requirements.

A great deal of thought goes into creating a design that will allow for the future expansion of the site, as the client’s needs develop.  Establishing a suitable ‘Look & Feel’, along with intuitive and intelligent navigation, are all part of our design process, and help to encourage visitors to explore each site to maximum advantage.

We place ‘user experience’ at the heart of all aspects of our business, and nowhere is this more important than in the way our creative team use their skills to create great website designs.

Programming

Gulf Interactive programmers ensure that our websites are fast and efficient by using the latest technology and programming techniques. We make extensive use of Content Management Systems so that it is easy for clients to maintain and update their websites, without any technical experience being required. This reduces ongoing costs and keeps the client in complete control of their own site.

We also create many online applications in order to enhance our website. These special features may include interactive events calendars, image libraries, media centres, webcasts and streaming media, online newsletters, RSS feeds, polls and surveys, discussion forums and blogs, and secure ‘members’ areas.

Technical testing is an important part of any website project and we thoroughly test all websites before they go live. It is during this phase we check for cross-browser compatibility.

Usability and Accessibility testing is a major factor in creating a successful website, and something that we undertake on all projects. Accessibility is an area that we feel strongly about, and our sites are built to be accessible by all.

Strategy

The consultancy and strategic function within Gulf Interactive focuses on developing a long-term digital strategy for clients by establishing the needs of the user and ensuring that all objectives meet those needs, and motivate accordingly. Strategy also covers advice on information architecture and technology implementation.

Strategy workshops can be conducted with the Client’s staff and stakeholders. The focus is on interaction within a series of workshops or discussion groups, depending on the numbers attending. The groups may consist of management, stakeholders, investors, key staff members, and user groups - such as teachers, parents, and students, for example. Decisions made could include the choosing of suitable site colours and images, the tone of voice that should be used, and what content should stay, be replaced, adapted, or deleted.

These workshops and meetings involve participants making balanced decisions whilst looking towards the future of the website, and finding suitable compromises between all of those involved in the decision making.
